L’élection présidentielle du 7 octobre 2018 est sans nul doute l’événement politique majeur de l’année au Cameroun. Au terme de ce scrutin, Paul Biya, large vainqueur avec 71,28% de suffrages devant sept candidats de l’opposition, rempile pour les sept prochaines années.

Quelque 6,5 millions de Camerounais inscrits sur les listes électorales ont pris part au vote, à travers 25 000 bureaux de vote disséminés dans l’ensemble du pays et à l’étranger.

L'Ambassadeur Extraordinnaire et Plénipotentiaire du Cameroun à Dakar, S.E. M. KOE NTONGA, informe la Communauté Camerounaise de la Diaspora : Sénégal - Mali - Mauritanie - Gambie - Cabo Verde - Guinée Bissau, qu'a l'initiative du Gouvernement du Cameroun, la première édition du Forum de la Diaspora (FODIAS 2017), sera organisé du 28 au 30 juin 2017 à Yaoundé.
